Every year, tens of thousands of people across Britain face the devastating reality of homelessness—without a safe place to call home, health, stability and opportunity are all at risk. At Crisis, we believe everyone deserves the dignity and security of a home, no matter who they are or where they come from.

We’re the national charity for people experiencing homelessness, with over 50 years’ experience of delivering support, pioneering research, and campaigning for change. Rooted in communities across England, Scotland and Wales, we work to provide practical solutions, influence policy, and build a movement to end homelessness for good.

Our support reaches people every day—helping someone move into safe housing, offering education and training to unlock new opportunities, or providing comfort and dignity at Christmas. From our Skylight centres to our Venture Studio and campaigning work, we’re there for people at every stage of their journey out of homelessness.

In 2023/24 alone, we supported more than 10,000 people, campaigned successfully for progressive housing reforms, and launched our new social enterprise lettings agency to increase access to affordable homes. But our impact goes far beyond the numbers. Each person rehoused, each barrier removed, and each policy change achieved is a step toward a fairer society where homelessness is no longer inevitable.

At Crisis, we know real change happens when people come together. Every member, supporter, partner and colleague plays a part in building a future free from homelessness.
